Sustain4Future

Empowering universities and regional ecosystems to lead Europe’s green, digital, and circular transformation through education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Description

Sustain4Future is a collaborative European project connecting nine higher education institutions and their regional innovation ecosystems. The project empowers universities to take a leading role in building a sustainable and inclusive European economy through education, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem development. It directly supports key EU priorities, including the European Green Deal, digital transformation, and the transition to a circular and regenerative economy

Three Key Pillars

  • Entrepreneurial Teaching & Learning
Modern education programs fostering entrepreneurial and sustainability mindsets among students and researchers.
  • Preparing and Supporting Entrepreneurs
Mentoring, incubation, and acceleration services that equip young entrepreneurs with tools to launch and grow sustainable ventures.
  • Ecosystems and Networks
Connecting university incubators and regional stakeholders to form resilient and collaborative innovation networks across Europe.

What the Project Delivers

  • Sustainability Hub (WP3):
A space for maturing entrepreneurial skills, connecting students with local stakeholders, and supporting sustainable business creation.
  • Innovation Network (WP4):
A Europe-wide network of innovation hubs and incubators sharing tools, methods, and best practices to accelerate regional transformation.

Long-Term Impact:
The project is designed with sustainability in mind – ensuring outcomes such as educational modules, new ventures, and partnerships live on beyond the funding period.
