27.–28. 5. 2025 | Ghent, Belgium
The HEI4 Sustain4Future project is officially launching with a two-day consortium meeting in Ghent, bringing together nine leading European partners from higher education, incubators, and regional innovation ecosystems.
This ambitious initiative aims to position universities at the center of Europe’s transition to a sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative economy. Aligned with the European Green Deal, digital transformation, and sustainability goals, the project delivers concrete mechanisms, programs, and tools to drive impact.
HEI4 Sustain4Future is structured around three key pillars:
1. Entrepreneurial Teaching and Learning
2. Preparing and Supporting Entrepreneurs
3. Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Networks
Through these, the project seeks to:
- Foster sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship at universities
- Empower young entrepreneurs to co-create real-world solutions
- Connect regional innovation ecosystems through incubator collaboration
The project’s Work Packages are impact-driven – for example, WP3 (Sustainability Hub) will support young innovators in building real businesses with regional partners, while WP4 strengthens the network of innovation incubators and local ecosystems across partner regions.
HEI4 Sustain4Future aspires to become the most attractive partner for sustainable innovation in Europe – making a long-term difference not only for the nine partners, but for their broader regional ecosystems.
