We were delighted to attend this year’s EIT Urban Mobility Community Days 2025, which took place on 18–19 March in Munich. This annual event brings together actors from across the urban mobility innovation ecosystem – cities, industry, startups, research organisations and public institutions – and this year focused on the theme “Collaborating for resilience: innovative solutions for changing times.“
During two intensive days we had the opportunity to present our activities, share experiences, participate in thematic discussions and meet new partners and inspiring projects.
What caught our attention?
- The flash presentations of new projects from 2024/2025, including those promoting efficient logistics, clean mobility and adaptation of public space.
- Startup pitching session, featuring innovative companies from the EIT Urban Mobility investment portfolio.
- Discussion groups that addressed the most pressing challenges of contemporary urban mobility – from safety to the use of AI in transport.
- Networking and practical excursions, including a visit to Munich’s bike-logistics hubs and redesigned public spaces.
- A special focus this year was on the new Call Programme 2025, which will offer new opportunities for funding and international cooperation.

As a PowerHUB we are proud to be part of this community. The Community Days have confirmed to us once again that meaningful change in urban mobility is not just about technology – it’s about people, collaboration and sharing know-how.
We look forward to further joint projects and strengthening the EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Network!
