Ten scaleups, one mission: Transforming urban mobility

European cities face a common challenge: how to ensure cleaner, safer, and more efficient transport. That is why EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), has launched a new Scaleup Mobility Programme.

Ten fast-growing scaleups have been selected for the programme and will receive support from five leading innovation hubs in Europe: UnternehmerTUM (Munich), CARNET-UPC & Mobile World Capital Barcelona, PowerHUB (Prague) and DTU Science Park (Copenhagen).

What does the program offer?

The Scaleup Mobility Programme provides tailored mentoring, access to investors, and direct connections to urban networks. Each company will receive exactly the support it needs to reduce the risks associated with rapid growth and bring its solution to the European market on a large scale.

“Every company faces its own challenges, and our program is designed to provide targeted support to help fill those gaps. We combine practical mentoring and preparation for investor pitches. This reduces the risks of scaling and increases the chances of long-term success,” says Raül Feliu, Startup Programs Manager, EIT Urban Mobility.

Who makes up the 2025 cohort?

Ten selected scaleups focus on key areas – electrification, logistics, the sharing economy, automation, and smart solutions for cities:

  • Block / AviBike (HU) – smart and secure docking systems for bicycles and scooters.
  • Crabaride (CH/UK) – AI platform for long-distance carpooling.
  • ecoro GmbH (DE) – zero-emission automated logistics for industry and cities.
  • full&fast (ES) – modular solutions for rapid deployment of e-charging infrastructure.
  • K2 Mobility GmbH (DE) – AI platform for optimizing the charging of truck and bus fleets.
  • Mobility Signage (DE) – modular ITCS system for modernizing public transport.
  • PANTOhealth GmbH (DE) – predictive maintenance of trolleybuses and pantographs using AI.
  • Replan GmbH (DE) – cloud SaaS for fast and affordable transport simulations.
  • Syntonym Limited (UK) – anonymization of video data for privacy-protected mobility.
  • VivaDrive Polska (PL) – AI autopilot for corporate fleets, reducing costs and emissions.

Why is this important?

The program supports the goals of the European Green Deal and the mission of 100 climate-neutral cities by 2030. Connecting startups with investors, cities, and decision-makers will enable their solutions to be deployed quickly and at scale.

“Supporting high-impact innovators is at the heart of our mission. Their success accelerates the transition to sustainable and resilient European cities, benefiting all citizens and strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in a challenging geopolitical context,” adds Raül Feliu.
